Classic Hybrid
Classic Hybrid is Sunstar's entry level hybrid: a slim 5.5mm SPC board with an EVA underlay already attached, so it floats over a prepared subfloor without a separate underlay. The 183mm by 1530mm planks have an embossed surface, a 0.35mm wear layer and a UV cured coating, and Sunstar describes the surface as anti-microbial. It is rated AC3 Residential, which makes it a sensible choice for bedrooms, living rooms and rentals. The ten colours include Blackbutt, Tasmanian Oak and Mountain Spotted Gum. We recommend hybrid for dry living areas; for bathrooms and laundries we suggest a glue down vinyl.
