Le Parquet
Le Parquet is one of Sunstar's most substantial engineered oak floors, with an extra thick 4mm European Oak veneer on a 15mm board. Because the top layer is so thick, there is more real timber to work with over the life of the floor. The 190mm by 1900mm boards sit on an 8 layer eucalyptus multi-ply core with a birch base ply, and Sunstar says they suit direct stick or floating installation. The ten colours carry French place names, from Lorient and Bayonne through to Avignon and Corbara, all with a light brushed matte finish and micro bevelled edges. A matching herringbone version is also available.
